Ahmadi Governorate is in the southern part of Kuwait — the center serves residents across the southern governorate, including areas such as Fahaheel, Mahboula, Mangaf, Abu Halifa, and Subahiya itself.

The center does not have a walk-in counter for most services — an appointment booked through the Meta Kuwait platform is required before visiting. Arriving without a confirmed appointment will result in being turned away at the door.

The center operates five days a week. Friday and Saturday are closed.

Card delivery is available during both morning and evening shifts. Appointment bookings are processed during the morning shift only — 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In practice the morning shift at South Subahiya fills appointment slots faster than the evening shift. If you cannot secure a morning slot on the Meta platform, the evening shift handles card collection for residents who received their SMS notification — no appointment is needed for collection once the SMS confirms the card is ready.

How to Book an Appointment at South Subahiya Civil ID Center

All appointments are booked through the Meta Kuwait platform — PACI’s unified government services portal. The process requires a one-time account registration before you can select a date and time.

First-time registration on Meta platform

1. Go to the META website at metadrapp.azurewebsites.net
2. Click Appointment Booking from the menu
3. Select Register as a new user
4. Enter your Civil ID number and Civil ID serial number
5. Enter your Kuwait mobile number and email address
6. Agree to the terms and conditions
7. Click Register
8. Enter the mobile confirmation code sent by SMS
9. Enter the email confirmation code
10. Create and confirm a password for your account
11. Click Confirm to complete registration
